HP - high porosity

With its high perlite content, PRO-MIX HP provides a great growing environment to growers looking for a significant drainage capacity, increased air porosity and lower water retention. The added benefit of fibrous peat moss and coarse perlite makes this formulation ideal for growers who require a superior-quality product adapted to their needs for watering flexibility and crop seasonality.

Nurturing Nature Worm Castings are a proven means of increasing fundamental organic materials and processes to enhance microbial life in the soil, especially the beneficial bacteria and protozoa. Worm castings are the richest soil and plant supplement known. Worm castings stimulate microbial growth more than any other organic material, and are capable of assisting microbes in releasing minerals locked up in the soil to make them available to plants. Nurturing Nature Worm Castings work opposite of fertilizers in that their effect improves soil tilth with time instead of being rapidly depleted or becoming used up as the growing season progresses. The most significant benefit of using Nurturing Nature Worm Castings is their proven ability to stimulate the proliferation of beneficial microorganisms (the life) that helps build your soil.

Horticultural grade perlite is derived from a naturally occurring, volcanic rock. When furnaced at high temperatures, perlite “pops” and expands up to 10 times its original volume. The resulting, lightweight particles are made up of microscopic spheres with a porous, irregular surface that stores moisture and promotes plant growth. Adding perlite to soil and growing media lightens the soil and introduces pore spaces that allow air and water to penetrate the root system. Excess moisture is permitted to drain out and maintain balanced air and moisture conditions which contribute to healthy biological and microbial activity, and minimize the chances for rot. Supreme Perlite comes in 4 cu.ft. bales and is OMRI listed.
